We Are Resilient™ Online Circles, Courses, and Prerecorded Webinars

  • Online Resilience Circles
    • Learn how to center yourself! Through virtual small group exercises, you will examine your protective patterns and practice simple, effective, research-based centering skills. These six-week sessions provide an opportunity to learn about yourself and learn from others in a supportive environment.
  • Online Courses
    • Introductory 90-Minute Webinars
(Free to Medi-Cal providers through ACEs Aware Grant, Registration Coming Fall 2020)
      • Session 1: This 90-minute training helps healthcare providers identify their Protective Patterns that can limit their resilience as well as identify strengths-based Centering Skills that can help them maintain personal balance. These trauma-informed strategies are particularly helpful during COVID-19 and in the context of ACEs screening.
      • Session 2: This 90-minute training helps healthcare providers reflect on their use of previously-identified Protective Patterns and Centering Skills, as well as identify Connecting and Collaborating Skills that they want to strengthen. Finally, the course helps providers practice how to coach these skills with patients and families in the context of providing anticipatory guidance.
“[The Resilience Circle] is a great way to spend some time reflecting on our own behaviors as we move forward into the week. I was thinking about my husband’s natural protective factors…and how our “styles” of dealing with stress have been in overdrive lately. No wonder we need a break.” — Business Professional
