Stress & Reactivity
Respond Instead of React
Under pressure, people can become defensive, withdrawn, overwhelmed, controlling, or disconnected without realizing what is happening.
Professional Development & Team Training
Build practical resilience skills that help people communicate more effectively, respond to stress with greater intention, and work through challenges together.
Our interactive, evidence-informed training brings the We Are Resilient™ framework into the real moments that shape workplace culture—from pressure and conflict to collaboration, belonging, and change.
Training can be tailored for teams, organizations, schools, healthcare settings, and other groups.
Why It Matters
Stress is part of every workplace. What shapes culture is how people respond when pressure rises, communication gets difficult, or change creates uncertainty.
We Are Resilient™ gives teams a shared framework and practical skills for noticing what is happening, staying connected, and making more intentional choices together.
Stress & Reactivity
Under pressure, people can become defensive, withdrawn, overwhelmed, controlling, or disconnected without realizing what is happening.
Communication & Trust
Misunderstandings, conflict, and unspoken tension can quickly affect relationships, collaboration, and people’s willingness to speak honestly.
Change & Culture
New expectations, shifting priorities, staffing changes, and uncertainty can strain even strong teams.
It’s a team with practical ways to recognize what is happening, stay connected through challenge, and choose what may help next.

Patterns & Culture
Explore Protective and Cultural Patterns with curiosity so teams can better understand reactivity, different perspectives, and the dynamics influencing connection and belonging.
Explore Protective PatternsTeams practice with real situations so the language and tools can become part of everyday meetings, conversations, decisions, and moments of stress.
What It Looks Like in Practice
The goal is not for people to leave inspired for a day. It is to give them language and practices they can return to when stress, conflict, or everyday challenges show up again.
What I appreciated most was that the in-class teachings, discussions and resources are memorable. In between sessions, when I found myself off-center, I could easily reflect back on conversations or refer to the resources to help me move through my challenges and get me back to center. That is a powerful experience.
After the Training
The practices are designed to become part of how people navigate real conversations, decisions, meetings, and moments of pressure—not something that only exists during the workshop.
Notice when protective reactions are beginning to shape communication or behavior.
Give people common ways to talk about stress, connection, choice, and what may help next.
Practice centering skills that create more room for intentional responses under pressure.
Use practical approaches for listening, communication, accountability, and repair.
Explore protective patterns without reducing people to labels or treating reactivity as a personal failure.
Apply the framework in meetings, relationships, team decisions, and other real workplace moments.
Shared language and repeated practice can make it easier for teams to notice what is happening and support one another through challenge.
Designed for Your Setting
The We Are Resilient™ framework stays consistent, but the examples, conversations, and practice should feel relevant to the people in the room. We tailor training to your setting, roles, goals, and the challenges your people are actually navigating.
Schools & Districts
Build shared language and practical resilience skills across educators, staff, and leaders so the learning can extend into classrooms, meetings, relationships, and school culture.
Healthcare & Caring Professions
Give providers and care teams practical ways to work with stress, stay connected under pressure, and strengthen communication with colleagues, patients, and families.
Workplaces & Organizations
Bring practical resilience skills into workplaces navigating pressure, communication challenges, organizational change, conflict, or the everyday work of building a healthy team culture.
Flexible Learning
When organization-wide training isn’t the right fit, smaller groups and individual learners can still build practical resilience skills through flexible learning options.
